Announcement Svarka/Welding Exhibition 2023
The 21st SVARKA/WELDING International Exhibition of Welding, Cutting, and Related Technologies will take place in Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg
on April 18 through 20, 2023.
The Exhibition is a venue where state agencies, business entities and the academic community meet
to discuss the matters of the welding industry, the issues of national projects implementation, as well as
to demonstrate the accumulated production potential for the purpose of supplying hi-tech equipment
to the industrial facilities.
The key topic of the event will be the renovation of the welding equipment and innovation integration
at welding sites of the fuel and energy, the nuclear energy, the mechanical engineering, the construction, and other sectors.
The convention program will comprise scientific practical conferences and technical sessions
on the relevant subjects, including development prospects of the Russian welding industry, digitalization and introduction of 4.0 tools, Russian welding technologies, quality assurance for welding joints, as well as certification of both production means and the staff.
The fundamental event will be the plenary session named Thinking ahead: consequences of global economic sanctions and dealing scenarios. Strategic objectives in the welding industry.
The Exhibition will also include the State-of-the-art welding technologies, equipment, and materials
for construction and repair of major and field pipelines International Scientific Practical Conference, which will be participated by experts from Gazprom Group.
The event will host dedicated workshops, as well as the Business Matchmaking Centre for buyers
and suppliers to negotiate face-to-face.
During the Youth Day, students and experts of the university welding chairs will present their graduation projects and research papers for a competition.
SVARKA/WELDING International Exhibition is going to bring together top manufacturers and consumers
of the welding equipment, as well as senior welding operators from industrial plants and experts
from the academic community.
As usual, the event will be supported and participated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Government of St. Petersburg, Gazprom PJSC, Alliance of Welders of St. Petersburg
and the North-West Region, and Russian industrial associations.
Along with SVARKA/WELDING Exhibition, Expoforum will host the Russian International Energy Forum, Municipal Housing Complex of Russia International Exhibition and Corrosion Protection International Convention Exhibition. Several industrial events held at once in the same site will give the visitors a more integral vision of the market trends and open new business development prospects for the business community.
